Who is Larry Kahaner?

A former Washington correspondent for BusinessWeek magazine, Larry Kahaner is the author of 15 books, including the best-selling Competitive Intelligence, a Book-of-the-Month selection which has been translated into six languages. He has also written Values Prosperity and the Talmud; Business Lessons from the Ancient Rabbis, The Quotations of Chairman Greenspan and AK-47; the Weapon that Changed the Face of War.

He was a blogger on Business Leadership and Ethics for the McGowan Charitable Foundation. Kahaner also is founder of KANE Associates International, Inc., a firm that specializes in intelligence matters for corporate clients in addition to business consultation.

He has presented before Northrop Grumman, Monsanto, ABB, AT&T, MCIWorldCom, Sodexho Marriott, CDM, Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals Annual Conference; International Quality & Productivity Center, National Military Intelligence Association; The World Future Society; American Recovery Association Annual Meeting; Institute of Police Technology and Management; District of Columbia Police Academy; Halton Regional Police Dept., Toronto, Canada; the Graduate Management School of the University of Indonesia in Jakarta, and other companies, universities and organizations.

His articles have appeared in The Washington Post, The International Herald Tribune, The European and The Christian Science Monitor. He has been a guest on CNN’s Larry King Live, CNBC’s Management Today, National Public Radio’s All Things Considered, C-SPAN, CBS Evening News, G. Gordon Liddy Show, Derek McGinty Show, Voice of America, Talk to America; Fox TV News, Bloomberg Business News, and local TV and radio stations worldwide.

He has received the Jesse M. Neal National Business Journalism Award, the American Society of Business Publication Editors Regional Gold Award and an Associated Press Newswriting Award.He holds a Master of Science in journalism from Boston University and is a licensed private investigator.
